How to study and improve your game!
Great instructional for breaking down how to improve and study specific aspects of your game, technique, submission, etc. It will take some work on your part, but love the way it is broken down into phases, identifying the problem, best ways to review and even picking the correct partner. Recommended for those willing to put in the time on specific items to improve your game.
Great framework for structuring your training
I met Josh and got to train with him, which is one of the reasons I was so eager to purchase this instructional. His jiu jitsu is incredibly technical, with little wasted movement or effort. The idea of always having something that you're working on specifically is a powerful way to gain skill and understanding, and this instructional lays it all out for you in an easy-to-understand way.

Great video
Learn how to learn
Great instructional on how to make effective progress. The content is technique- and position-agnostic, making it universally applicable.

follows the theory of practice does not make perfect. Purposeful practice makes perfect. Both beginners and experienced grapplers can benefit from this form of training.
Helps Organize
Common sense, but it provides a nice structure.
Helpful Stuff
I can see why someone would want to train with Josh after watching this. Provides a structured way to base your progression in training. Would like to see more examples of how to select a project track progress but I have no doubt this will help my learning.
How To Deeply Learn BJJ
Josh Vogel clearly communicates his ideas in this video set. the concept is very similar to doing an Art Study - for those of you who are artists. What constitutes is picking a subject such as a specific attack, or passing technique, etc... Then you develop a three stage study or a Mr. Vogel calls it Project. The three stages are EFC which stands for: Entry - getting into the position, transition, or Attack you're doing the project on. Control - Maintaing the technique while your partner tries to escape. Finishing - Getting that sought after Tap! Josh goes into a lot more detail on how to do these projects and uses the Omoplata as an example throughout the video demonstrating how to do a project. But this video is more of a how to really learn BJJ deeply. It is not a listing of techniques, it is an approach to learning that really involves you as a student and also developer of your style. because if that this video will start being useful around the time you're at your second strip white belt. I suspect that around Blue it will help you truly develop your own game and past that it's a great way to develop your conciseness rather than being a library of techniques. because if those involvement you'll really get to know the moves rather than just repeating them, which is what we're doing for most part as a white belt just getting acquainted with the game of BJJ. Overall with the money. Would recommend combining this with a technique video series and of course ask your higher belts and professor to help you develop your own projects.
Travel Training
Enjoyed this instructional and preparing to apply the ECF method to my personal projects. I find the structure particularly helpful given that I am often traveling and at my home gym only rarely.

90 Day Project Based Jiu Jitsu by Josh Vogel
this is not a traditional installation Al video. it is a teaching/learning style that the presenter is a proponent of. to maximize the information in the video requires a degree of prior knowledge and access to additional technique information.
Game Planning
Excellent information for planning progression and understanding the elements and stages of a submission. There is an issue with sound in this video though. I messaged bjjfanatics support and they somehow fixed the sound to where it was bearable. I think the issues was at the time of recording. Bjjfanatics support is some of the best support I have ever interacted with though. Thank you!
