If you are new to breath control and meditation, not just for combat sports but also for daily life, this is a great place to start.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Insightfull
Never been big on meditation but i got this to help with breathing. After using some techniques i have found a slight difference in my ability to recover and stay focused under top pressure. I also found that i am calmer and able to feel more energy movements in rolling. Guess that is what happens when you learn a bit of meditation. I will watch it over and over and practice and see how much beter i can get
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Not only great for fighting but for life
This really helped me in and out of the gym. I struggle with addiction and this really helped with that as well. Now I am starting to meditate everyday and already feel tons better.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Excellent Beginner's Guide To Breath Work
I've struggled with genaralized anxiety my whole life, which only ratchets up during competition. My doctor reccomended I try meditation and breath work, but it never really worked for me. It all felt too spiritual and hokey. I decided to revisit the idea with this video, thinking maybe by dropping some hard-earned cash the results would be different. I was right. Ross Lewin breaks down the concepts in a scientific way that really resonated with me, and guides you through the practical application of said techniques. I picked it up to help battle my anxiety, but I'm sure there's value for every athlete in here.
