• Kuzushi/off balancing and throwing via smart gripping and footwork!

  Nullifying and utilizing your opponent's grips - by smart gripping and counter-gripping. It is about making every grip of your opponent a liability for him by setting up your own grips and off balance him by effective foot placement and footwork. He demonstrates every technique from slow to moderate speed and closes each chapter showing a bunch of full speed competition scenarios. In the gripping section you get answered all how's and why's of his gripping as well as the consequences when you fail. Also the turtle breakdowns and follow ups are straight to the point and easy to follow. He also shows solo demonstrations to explain the movement. Kuzushi via controlling the grips and proper footwork. Highly recommend!

  Unironically a excellent tutorial on uchimata. It doesn't spend much time on the actual building blocks of Kuzushi though.
