I've watched and re watched this DVD many times. Its very informative and has helped me keep my outside heel hook principles tight. Definitely recommend.

Thank you for your instructional: it had the best structure and the most well-founded leglock knowledge I have seen so far (including the bestseller...). You have also broken down well-known terms such as centerline exposure into practical scenarios in an extremely understandable way. for me even with an added value compared to Danaher, Gordon or Jason rau. I hope you find other ways to share your technical-understanding with us.

Different method of teaching (backwards) but in the end it all makes sense. As a beginner it gave me way more confidence to do leglocks. Glad I got this one.

One of the best instructionals on the site, easily. This is a must. If your heel hooks ****, you need this. Its an investment and id say almost essential, made me completely relearn how to do heel hooks and had significantly higher percentage finishes. Buy this DVD, it's an easy watch and it WILL make your leg attacks significantly better.

Man this series hits the spot. Such great moves to watch and learn from. Would be even better if they were doing their moves in jockstraps-- its the best way to see all the moves they make and the muscles they use.

I was able to apply your easy to understand concepts and instantly add them to my game amplifying my finishing rate instantly not only with the outside heel hook but also my straight ankles making me more confident in leg lock shootouts

This is probably the best instructional I have seen yet (and I buy a lot of instructionals, or so my girlfriend complains!). I have not even completed the last volume but there is just so much gold in the first three that it's already my favorite. Sean Applegate is really clear and concise in his teaching. I also like that he starts with the endpoint (breaking mechanics) and goes backwards from there (isolation, pinning, sweeping/entries) so you have a clear idea what you are looking for when you get to the desired position. This instructional has a good balance between concepts, techniques and actual examples of the concepts elaborated upon and will help anyone from beginner to advanced in understanding the underlying principles that make jiu-jitsu work. Thank you Sean!

I've been following sean's leglock game for a number of years now. The man is a thinker and despite being quite young, has developed his teaching style and delivery alongside his jiu jitsu and coming to some really, really solid pieces of information that very few can articulate in such an approachable fashion. I have a good number of instructionals and Sean's leglock info is top notch in terms of new and innovative methods and thorough explanations that I know have come from pressure testing the beejeezus out of these concepts. Great great buy
