i used this technique in sparring time. each game met this situation.
I recently had the privilege of diving into "Gracie Fundamentals: Turtle Mastery" by Rayron Gracie, and I can confidently say it has been a transformative experience for my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu journey. As a white belt, I was looking for an instructional that could provide clear, effective, and easy-to-understand techniques to improve my ground game. This series exceeded my expectations in every way. Professor Rayron Gracie's teaching style is exceptional. His ability to break down complex movements into simple, actionable steps is unparalleled. I've had the honor of private sessions with Professor Rayron, and his dedication to ensuring that his students understand and master the fundamentals is truly inspiring. The instructional is meticulously structured, covering various scenarios and transitions to and from the turtle position. From getting to the turtle from the bottom and top to mastering front and back turtle techniques, every aspect is covered with precision and clarity. The emphasis on retention concepts, such as the collar trap and bear hug, has significantly improved my ability to control and submit my opponents.

This course was a game-changer! highly recommend
One of the best instructors out there. Step by step breakdowns that are easily applicable in sparring.
Amazing like the rest of his instructionals.
I ignored the turtle position for years, and fell behind there while I focused on other positions. So I grabbed this instructional from Rayron to help me get back up to speed. Man, there’s a lot of great content in here. I was just expecting to touch on sharpening up stuff I’ve seen already, and maybe learning a few new details. But there’s a ton of techniques and details from both positions, as well as how to link it with things you already know, like half guard and passing positions. I’m a black belt and even learned a lot from this set, but I think lower belts would benefit a ton from it as well. Definitely recommended.
I have had these techniques used on me many times!
