Very good practical material, no Hollywood takedowns. I would love to see the Ruiz brothers to a instructional together.

Excellent rolling and grappling skill level!
Excellent rolling and grappling skills used very intuitively and conscientiously, thereby giving the viewers a great sense of "feel" for the flow of wrestling. Hands together for this video!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Excellent footwork and handwork techniques with a humble and accomplished grappler- highly recommended!
This was excellently performed and laid out- offering visible instructions on technical and intuitive moves that really work: I’ve put his arm drags to pitch perfect use on Sunday open mats!

Perfect compliment to his brothers video! Together they are golden!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:It’s got that Danaher integration
Best integrated grappling for BJJ I’ve seen so far. It goes down into the basics but has high level details in doing so. He’s like Danaher in the way that it’s very conceptual and that the concepts are integrated with the practical. He’s even better in the way that he doesn’t use unexplained jargon when teaching. Takes into account MMA striking, BJJ guard pulling, submission takedown defenses, and the position you end up in after the takedown. I’m sick of seeing takedowns for BJJ that land you straight into closed guard. This guy really takes that into account so you’ve passed the guard after the takedown.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:An incredible stand-up grappling instructional!
Being a high-level wrestler & grappler, Brandon Ruiz really knows what he's talking about. Not having an extensive wrestling background myself, I learned so much from this instructional! Brandon goes through his theory & concepts about the grappling stand-up game as well as specific techniques. This is a must have for really all level grapplers, can't recommend this instructional enough!

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Super Helpful
Great stuff here. I’m always interested in different approaches to takedowns, and this is the most useful stuff I’ve seen for a while. Hoping to see more from Brandon.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Stand up to finish, these sequences are amazing!
I have been looking forward to this release for a while, and Ruiz did not disappoint. Brandon is an old-school grappler. One of the most well-rounded guys around. His wresting is top notch and the system he deploys and teaches here will certainly help all from novice to expert. Ruiz's finishing sequences are really smooth. You will find those nuggets that will sharpen some of the true and tried subs that we've all been using. Thanks, Brandon. Pick this one up. It's well worth it.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:From Standing to Finishing. These Sequences are amazing.
I have been looking forward to this release for a while, and it does not disappoint. Ruiz is one of the most talented and well rounded grapplers around. His wrestling is top notch and the system he deploys and teaches here can help anyone from novice levels all the way up to the most accomplished. Once this man takes you to the mat, his sequences to get the finish are really smooth. There were some little details that really helped me sharpen some of the true and tried subs I've been using forever. Thanks, Brandon. If you have a chance to pick this series up, it is well worth it.
