Must have for longevity
I'm dealing with major back issues that have kept me out of training. I stumbled upon Dr Goodmans 12 minute workout on YouTube and it was a gamechanger. I'm sold on foundation training as a great way to improve mobility.
So odd, so helpful
Expect to spend a lot of time figuring out the elaborate instructions for each exercise, but they feel great. My lower back has been an issue for years, but its getting stronger and looser with these weird exercises.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Deep and different
Amazing system. Still working through the videos. A new way of training for me. Looking forward to practicing. If Grandmaster Rickson recommends it, I will begin Foundation Training.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Exactly what you need to align the body and work ut out
This is such a hard workout, no weights involved just contractions and breathing. I like how directed the instructions are and how he knows exactly where I am feeling pull/burn in my muscles. My body at the end feels so much better for it, it feels like i uave pulled my self back together. I have arthritis in my shoulders and this just seems to ease it and let them be more mobil, i do yoga daily which helps but this just hits differently. So happy I brought this.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Life Changing
The Foundation Training routines are truly life-chaining workouts that can be done with no weights. Read the comments on the Youtube videos for more proof.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:A solid introduction to Foundation training
I had watched the you tube videos and also got the app, and was interested in learning more, This course is divided into 4 Sections, each is around 25-30 Minutes in the Intro Instructor Salas describes the course as a series of corrective exercises designed to address the leading causes of Chronic pain there is a lot of information on here and he often links the "technique" he is teaching to Jiu Jitsu, like when going over some breathing he relates it to breathing when someone is on top of you there is a mixture of stances movements , exercises and breathing through out The 4th section focuses on Mobility thru your spine and Hips and shows some movements you can perform with Kettle bells and the TRX trainer I believe this course can help people to try and avoid injury, improve thier movement patterns and breathing As an older student I think it will benefit me greatly if I am disciplined and stick with it
