Detailed, Clear and Concise
Explains the concepts behind the technique. As a smaller, female grappler, I appreciate seeing someone my size execute techniques.
Essential escapes to utilize right away
I enjoyed the instruction and simple breakdowns.. alot of the escapes have been successful when I utilize them correctly at the right times.

Hall of Fame Secrets
5x world champion for a reason. Luanna is able to coach you through indictators for a move, reaction, counter reactions and how to capitalise on them. It's a really nice instructional for all levels. For all those striving for technical excellence and efficiency. You've come to the right place. She shows the move in several angles, keeps the information concise and the language simple - which I personally find easy to grasp!

This is an excellent instructional for fundamentals. Many techniques and escapes are included. In particular, the back escapes are well explained. Highly recommended.

This Gi based instructional is exactly two hours long, with the first three volumes teaching escapes from fundamental positions and the fourth addressing escaping from several common submissions. The positional escapes include mount (x5 techniques), side control (x5), Kesa Gatame (x2), half guard & reverse half guard (x5), back escape (x6) and turtle (x4). The submission escapes include triangle from the closed guard (x2), omaplata (x2), armbar from inside the closed guard, and armbar when you are on your back. Luanna Alzuguir is a Brazilian Black Belt and coach. She is a multi-champion and a member of the IBJJF Hall of Fame. Consequently, she is incredibly qualified to teach the subject matter and as observed from this instructional her teaching is professional and of a high standard (i.e., teaching the subject matter and demonstrating the techniques). Luanna Alzuguir provides clear details, explains the why (e.g., what the opponent needs to make their move work, etc) and she is totally focused on teaching the subject matter. Techniques are repeated multiple times from different camera angles. Usefully, which I appreciate the instructor and uki wear different coloured Gis. The techniques taught are effective, not overly complex and include several techniques that are not generally found in similar instructionals. There are no notable issues with sound or video quality (e.g., range, focus, or lighting). The preview chapter (Vol 1, Chapter 8 – double hip escape) and the trailer are consistent (i.e., sound and vision) with the balance of the instructional. In summary, this instructional is suited to both males and females looking to improve their knowledge and skills in positional escapes and several commonly encountered submissions. Alternatively, if you are teaching Gi students this would be a very useful resource. Both the content and teaching is excellent.
