Great if u want longevity & big picture concepts
Nic succinctly states the big picture concepts, how they apply in different scenarios and gives great advice on longevity. He explains the concept and then shows you how that concept applies to a particular move. Concepts will guide you when all else fails. He has a way of breaking it down through acronyms that make it easy to remember. He discusses philosophy as well I’m in my early 50s purple belt and have been training over eight years. Nic has some great advice for achieving longevity in the art. I’ve known tons of people to start and then quit. There are different seasons in life. In my 50s I’m probably close to fall closing in on winter. Haha Not gonna be going 100% with the 25-year-old kid. Nic also has a section on mobility. Strength and mobility is something we can work on at any age. This instructional by Nic is a must have if you are 40+

Nic is the kind of person who is detailed in everything he does. I’m fortunate that he is my instructor and he is as detailed in private lessons as he is on this film. He always surprises me with how much knowledge he has and how much credit he gives to people he has learned from. Nic is an incredible instructor and an even better person. I really like the CAP and SOAP acronyms, definitely helps me remember to pay attention to how I’m applying submissions. This is a top notch instructional and I highly recommend it.
