Great videos for beginners or anyone looking to improve.
Good basic detail on judo throws needed for promotion
Mr. D'Aquino is a good teacher and his instruction is simple and to-the-point, without too much verbosity.
This outlines all of the old original Judo Gokyo. The instruction is on point and it keeps the techniques short and sweet but detailed. perfect instructional.
This is an excellent reference. It’s not really a “course” per se in that you wouldn’t watch it from start to finish, but as someone whose background is primarily in MMA and no-gi, this is a very nice resource for helping me get up to speed on gi throws. I appreciate the format in which each throw gets a demonstration from a few different angles and an explanation of some of the most important things to remember.
all these videos are very helpful
Every technique was shown amazingly and it has all the basics you need.
Thai is a great resource and overview with adequate details. Hard to beat at it's price. I do wish he had gone over more variants of the throws.
D’Aquino provides a clear and simple explanation of the 40 basic throws of Judo.
essential. helped a million times over. great teacher
I do Judo (brown belt) and BJJ (white belt). I really enjoyed Daquinos videos. This video is a great reference for Judo players to reference and study when getting ready for testing. It’s also good for BJJ players looking for an intro to Judo throws if they want to up their takedown game.

I'm a Judo beginner, but I've been in BJJ for about a decade and Karate for longer. I wanted a good encyclopedia of throws to augment the ne-waza of BJJ and allow transitions from Karate strikes, and this video seems to be the perfect breakdown of the Judo Gokyo (despite spelling it Goyko on the cover) :-D it doesn't contain absolutely all 67 throws of Judo, only the Gokyo, but that's more than enough for me to get started on. Thank you!
