Great Instructional Guide
Wade really breaks down individual moves and also common progressions based on how you opponent responds.
Fantastic Overview
Wade is absolutley incredible as an instructor. He breaks down high level concepts and delivers them to you in a way that anyone who trains can understand. I often revisit this instructional when I feel like something isn't going well with my stand up and 9/10 the answer is actually in this instructional. Very glad to have this video on this platform. It also gave me a much deeper respect for people who primarily wrestle.
eye opening on how much
eye opening on how much cradles are everywhere
Excellent concepts and ideas to improve your takedown game
I found this instructional very helpful. Coach Schalles has some innovative ideas that let me see things in different ways, as well as providing simple but effective techniques to not only get an opponent to the ground but to control them. This helped my game almost immediately. Very valuable addition to your knowledge.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::hugging:Cradles to take down and takedowns and breakdowns to cradles
Coach Wade Schalles opens his treasure chest and provided an outstanding series about his favourite ride and pins. First you will get a deep insight about how wrestling in general works. What pillars are covering and how to remove them. How to force strong structure against weak strucgture. It is furthermore about how to technically improve as quick as possible by beginning with the finish and work your way back to the stages until you start with stance and footwork. He emphasis on always finish a takedown or breakdown with a pin and how cradles are always available. First you get an general overview of oll kinds of cradles and how they generally work and how to grip. Second you get the actual techniques explainded step by step from a variety of angles always reffered to the first part escpecially in terms of how to break your opponent down in which direction. There are also a lot of break downs applicable agaiinst a tight turtle. So really well applicalbe ot jiu jitsu! Hichgly recommend!
