Kazushi Sakuraba, say no more! Must have!
It's called 'Kimura Hunting' but there's a load wristlocks in there too. I love Sakuraba and to see his dirty tactics on Craig and Bernado is awesome (elbows in the ribs, fists in the sterman etc) Probably my favourite BJJF video
Great to see how the legendary saku became the gracie hunter!
Don’t be dissuaded by Sakuraba using a translator or by Craig Jones being there. It actually adds to it. I feel like hearing everything get translated allows for better absorption. It almost feels like being at a seminar with them with Bernardo and Craig asking questions and proposing different scenarios for Saku to problem solve.
A little bit different to other instructionals. However, very good extra details. Definitely worth it.
At first I wasn't sure about getting an instructional with a translator but it worked out perfect . I loved the knowledge that Sakuraba shared and everything he showed I had never seen before even though Ive spent countless hours on youtube and watching Bjj instructionals. I couldnt wait to get on the mat and try them out. I wished that Bernardo and Craig would have came with a list or some structure of questions to ask. Instead it seemed like they asked him random things that he had to come up with on the spot and he did a great job but they could have had a list of positions Situations etc and ran them by him before filming so he could answer instead of answering on the fly. I wished they picked his brain more because I know what he showed was the tip of the iceberg. I will definitely be getting more Sakuraba instructionals if they come out and thats coming from someone who already had tons of them from danaher lister etc. Also they could have made the video with labels so i can find certain things he taught instead of forwarding through the videos trying to locate the details of the moves. Sakuraba 5stars :call_me_hand:
Excellent details
Kimura Hunting by Kazushi Sakuraba is very good! A lot catch wrestling set ups !! Highly Recommended!
Good content, and presented in an entertaining manner.
This video was fun and educational as soon as you put it on. I love his teaching and the participants. I felt like I was in the video . Will definitely purchase more of his videos.
I love the videos with him.... He shows awesome stuff which is out of the box. Also who the videos are made is great. Not like step 1 step 2...its like u get the feel of a seminar. Thx
Funny and instructive. Awesome details. I have an itch for test them.
Excellent instructional. Have already had better success with kimuras from watching it. Hope to see more content from Saku soon!
This is a great video for learning some new variations on the kimura
great stuff
This is a great instructional for me, being at a white belt level. I landed my first Kimura on my first roll after watching, and escaped an americana the very same day based on this video. I am going to buy his other video this week when I get paid. I think his videos are perfect for white or blue belt levels wishing to make dramatic improvements, probably higher belts too, who knows.
After watching Sakuraba in Pride win almost all his fights from single leg takedowns and kimuras I had to buy this. The dvd was great. I implemented some of this stuff he uses. I was impressed with some of the tricks.
Really cool details to help finish the kimura or control the positions to open up other attacks. Great series on armbar finishes. And some cool wrist lock options. Really cool to have Craig jones and Bernardo involved asking the questions for setups and counters. Props to the translator who did a great job for having no BJJ experience. Short tutorial at about 2 hours run time. But lots of key points that really help tighten up the kimura and armbar game. Worth it!
If you train MMA, Combatives or any grappling based martial art, this is the DVD :dvd: for you. Kazushi Sakuraba is just awesome.
Loved it very informative it really opens your eyes to a broader look into options for the Kimura.
Well done and entertaining
Great video
There’s a lot of Kimura videos out there but this one has the sakuraba flavor and humor. The one aspect that’s really nice and shown in detail in the dvd is the chaining of the Kimura to different positions and submissions.
Great video by the Legend himself. There was plenty of detail and Sakuraba made sure that everyone understood what he was trying to explain through his translator.
Once you see Danaher's way of making videos, you want them all to go that way. This was a great video. Great information with entertainment to boot.
