• Its all right

  Gives you good overview of the most practical takedown techniques for mma with some differences of takedown in pure wrestling to take into account. But I would not call it mastery as it does not provide good details on the execution of each technique. Seems to me it was developed for wrestlers who know in depth each technique and shows them who to apply now in mma. But if you're a striker and want to learn well takedowns I feel there's missing more details to consider

• Game Changer

  Askren cleared up so many things for me by being honest about the difference between takedowns in MMA vs wrestling. This gave me much more confidence at MMA practice knowing I did not have to be the superior wrestler and could rather see the takedowns as extensions of my strikes. .
