John
A very good escapes instructional.
Solid go-to for defense
I usually come back to this instructional every time I get caught in a submission. This goes through defenses to all of the popular subs, like guillotine, omoplata, triangle, kimura, ezekiel, cross choke etc. Solid, well worth the money.
Never Get Submitted Again
Good submission defenses
Submission evasion
Simple but effective submission evasion. I like how Noel breaks down where the attacker is in the sequence and what you need to do to evade
Good Course
I liked the course. It will teach you how not to get caught in the most common submissions, starting with early defense and ending with last minute survival. It's a very important topic and I like the instructor's emphasis on defense as the most important part of your game.
never get submitted again
submission defense
Amazing for kids
I know this isn’t aimed at kids but 7 year old white belt went from getting submitted every class to almost never getting submitted after watching and drilling Noel Danforth’s instructional. Minimal talking without movement in the video makes it engaging enough to keep kids attention long enough to learn an escape. Knowing the escapes also gave the security to go for attacks during rolls really opening up learning during rolls.

Effective and Useful Techniques
Good Fundamental escapes
this video is great for beginners, has effective fundamental escapes, well worth the money!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:a must have fundamentals
It's pretty straightforward and easy to understand. I like most of its survival escapes that look new to me. I see immediate results during live rolling. It's definitely a must have
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Clear and Effective
Not every great BJJ fighter can transfer their knowledge to others. Noel is able to break his knowledge down into clear pieces so we can actually learn from his expertise.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:I still get submitted, but less often
This instructional focuses on the fundamentals of staying in good position to avoid being submitted and how to react in increasingly bad positions. I've found the triangle defense taught here to be particularly helpful, but many techniques have saved my neck & limbs in rolls. Importantly, the lessons avoid counters that either require extreme flexibility or athleticism.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Defense... Defense... Defense...
Solid defensive escapes/sweeps from common positions that should be fundamentally known!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:This is a good video
This is a good video for conservative escapes. You will not see anything too fancy here, but that is its value. The escapes are generally presented in stages: early to late. Noel is quite good on basic arm escapes in classic positions such as the key-lock. Overall, a good value for beginners and some advanced players who want to know good solid escapes or refresh their skills.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Escapes
Great instructionional for beginners all the way up to advanced. If you are struggling with getting submitted as an upper belt or lower belt this can instructional can def help you improve tremendously!!!
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::+1::skin-tone-2:Great resource for beginners to BJJ
As a beginner in BJJ, I feel this instructional will be the most beneficial to me than any other instructional. In my first couple of months in class all I have been doing is trying to get out of submissions. I'm not a natural athlete and I can't "explode" out of escapes so having this knowledge that Professor Noel teaches is invaluable. The techniques shown are clear and concise. I like the fact that Professor Noel encourages questions and comments at the end of the instructional in case something is ambiguous.
