Not a bad alternative if you cant afford or don't have the time for John Danaher's or Gordon Ryan's much more detailed and comprehensive instructionals.

Even Volume 1 itself has a lot of great details that was worth it for me. JT clearly explains the key details in an easy to understand manner, emphasising couple of times, when necessary, on the most important ones, explaining how and why they work and how people usually do things (yep, totally like I was taught to do it, gave me smile every time ;)). And all of this not only improves your passing success rate, but also keeps you injury free as much as possible. Especially knee cut, that pass alone is golden! Will digest and incorporate into my game and switch to the next Volumes. Great stuff, highly recommend!

Not only is JT a great competitor but a great teacher as well. This dvd is laid out properly starting from the closed guard and then working to pass open guard. I picked up many details I was missing to keep me more safe in the closed guard. I highly recommend this dvd for white through black belt. You’re awesome JT!
