Excellent explanation of practical takedowns
Ive been training for over 10 years. This may be the best collection of practical takedowns (that anyone can do) that I've encountered. I actually visited Surfight a few years ago and had the opportunity to roll with Joel. His knowledge, perspective and ability to teach are top notch.

Not Judo
This is easily one of the best takedown instructionals I have watched. Joel is not only a world class surfer and jiu-jitsu competitor but also a world class coach. He does an excllent job of breaking down and demonstrating a complete stand up game for no gi grappling.
Slick and safe takedowns
As an older guy wanting to improve my takedowns without getting hurt or hurting anyone else, these techniques seem really good.

The video and the instruction is exceptionally easy to follow even when the overall series is a little more complex. An excellent video which is highly recommended.
Simple, sneaky and effective
I bought this after training with Joel and Magid at Surfight - Joel and I did some standup during our round and he was so good in every position! Very cool concepts I can bring back to my students of all ages and mix into my game.

Nice and sweet. Not too long, just a few techniques, but good ones. I will definitely try them out.

Tudor does a super job of breaking down the fundamental components of a bunch of wrestling and judo-style takedowns and making them user-friendly and relatively safe--whether you're a beginner or a seasoned practitioner. Highly recommended for the 40+ crowd looking for takedowns that won't break our bodies!

Great and easy to understand instructional. Each week I watch one of the sections and just try to hit the takedown shown that week. Joel's teaching is very good. Hope to make it out to Surfight one day and get some training in.
