The Best Quarter-Guard Instructional Out There!
Quarter guard is often the last line of defense for your guard retention. There's instructionals out there on escaping bad positions. There's instructionals on escaping submissions. There's not much on the last line of defense before you need an escape. This is an EXCELLENT tutorial on the quarter guard, and how to use it not just for guard retention, but also for sweeps.
Hidden Half Guard Gem
The quarter half guard is a position that you see often in ibjjf tournaments and is a staple of great half guard players. Yet this position is never discussed in detail. My fellow country man closes this gap with his instructional. I am really impressed by his concie teaching style.

I am small and I roll mostly bigger guys. Moves explained here go very well. I did not know instructors - but did a good job - can recommend
Logical good position
The instructional is very good sorted. The idea of the Position ist very interesting. I could use already during Rolls.
Surprised
I was surprised how simple sometimes it can be to control the position. It worked on first try’s also against heavier opponents. I managed soon to work some of the positions explained.
Great guard system and great instructional!
Wolfgang has a great style of step-by-step teaching and guiding you through all aspects of the position. From how to keep and defend it to how to sweep your opponent depending on his reaction and how to follow up afterwards. I tried some of it in training already and was surprised how accurate Wolfgangs tips and descriptions were. My training partners behaved very similar to what he adresses in the instructional. To me, ist seems also like a very beginner-friendly instructional. Everything is explained in detail and the position itself is not overly complicated. I think it is a great addition to any guard gameplan!
Great Guard System!
Wolfgang has a very nice approach to teaching this position which is easy to follow. To me, it seemed very beginner friendly, as he teaches all concepts from how to keep and defend the position to possible passing strategies depending on the opponent's reaction and also how to follow up on the sweep. With this instructional, you get a well-rounded strategy how to fight from Quarter Outside Guard, which in my opinion is a great addition to any guard gameplan!
