Informative video from a great person and martial artist.
I appreciate bringing a lot more attention this part of BJJ
Things I loved: 1) Focusing on something very important and effective. It was a great learning experience in less than 1 hour. 2) How he describe breaking people's grips when they are grabbing the label or the sleeves 3) Focus on connection and base. I will have to watch this over and over to layer the information that is less visible. Things that could have been better: 1) An OUTLINE of the locks (e.g. categorizing like Danaher's. 5 different Triangle Chokes) at the beginning (after warmups) 2) Focused zooming in on the wrist and elbow during each demonstration Often, like at 6:49, the gi sleeves are covering what is happening at the wrist. The pressure being applied to the elbow is at times not clear either as anatomy and the pressures are not clearly elucidated. Within the same minute the radius is being pulled apart from the hand and then being forced into the hand then hyperflexed. 3) More detail of what was actually being done after the first lock. Professor elder often demonstrates destruction of the wrist through multiple sequential locks to demoralize the uke. The guys are writhing on the ground and they are tapping as practice partners after the first lock. Then Professor Elder will often do multiple locks after (more practical in a real fight) in the same demonstration. I didn't feel that I understood what was happening after the first lock. As an aside, I was kind of cringing the whole time because both UKE's looked like they were suffering a lot. (I presume it is old school). The amount of pain being inflicted on them often distracted me from the actually technique that was being used.

I enjoyed the content, and learned from the instructional...The production quality was lacking - I would have appreciated multiple angles to get a better understanding of the material.
