As far as side controls instructionals go, this is one of my favourite. Trapping the far arm with the opponents Gi was a game changer for me.

This has been one of my if not favorite side control instructionals its got a neat approach to both gi and nogi JiuJitsu and I have had success with these technique over and over on the mat.

A gi and no gi instructional video on some options for side control. I enjoyed the video and the straight forward approach to some of the highlights for this position. It doesn't instruct on how to get to side control but goes over the finishes once thier. As a beginner, I would recommend this video.

I really enjoy this video. While I have seen DVDs with more details on how to maintain side control, I have not found one with so many side control submissions that I am not familiar with. I highly recommend to those who want more creative ways to submit their opponents next time they are in side control

Good Detailed Video for side control submissions. There's a pretty good assortment of techniques from side control offered here, since its hard to perform many from this position. Recommended for beginner to advanced.

As far as top game is concerned I decided to journey to make side-control my main attacking position as it really does offer the most control especially against a larger opponent. My favorite technique in this series is the near side armbar entry.

This presents a great strategy for side control. Love the near side arm bar and judo pin paper cutter. I am getting baseball chokes with his variations.
