Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Excellent resource for weight training - Beginners or experienced
Having no background or experience in weight training, I was looking for something that would help me get started and improve my overall strength for BJJ. I came across this and it looked like it ticked all the boxes. I've been using the routines for about a month and: 1. All the individual exercises are VERY well explained, if you have the equipment to hand and play the video clip of the specific exercise (1-3min), there is no reason you shouldn't be able to do any of them. 2. The guys seem to really know their stuff and can articulate it well. Things like telling you how your body should feel doing the reps and what part of your body to move first, how to position your body so as to not get injured etc. are a massive help for a beginner. 3. Almost everything can be done with a barbell, dumbell, bench and squat rack/pull up bar. I ended up buying everything and making a home gym setup for a reasonable price. 4. There are 3 levels of difficulty (progression) for each exercise. 5. The pdf has a printable rep/set list that is really handy and is basically a ready made schedule that matches the video. 6. Every exercise has a bookmark so when you want details, just open up the app and you can get it right away. 7. The intro section of the video explains the science of strength training in 15min with clear concise language and really frames the rest of the video, (e.g. how to know what weight is correct for you, why you need to rest between sets etc. etc. ) Overall, this is a really professional product and is well worth the money.
Beautiful in its simplicity effective strength program
Really love the way, how comprehensive and adaptable this program is. Covering all the main movement patterns to bulletproof grapplers' bodies the coaches Bruce and Sterner are giving enough ways to progress or regress the exercises. And the 'Repetition in Reserve' loading scheme makes it really flexible for grapplers who have to follow strength routines along with their sport practices. One can recycle the given templates probably for years. Their simplicity may look like something bad, but it makes the program so easy to follow and thus gaining much more than from hopping between the "more sophisticated" plans one's unable to stick to because of their rigid and unadaptable structure. Despite being quite experienced in lifting I'm enjoying this "simplified" routine much more than super-puper RM-max percentage, conjugate, or whatever is hype now based programs I tried before. And coaches are really available for questions as the state in the E-book and Videos. I got the feedback on how to adapt the program to my routine literally in hours.

Nice simple program for BJJ by BJJ practitioners
Basic but powerfull strength routine for BJJ
Very well structured and explained. The coaches demonstrate the exercises one by one well enough, and create a very complete routine. Covering the main movement patterns with enough exercises per pattern, the routine is comprehensive enough for the demands of any athlete. Great job
