Very clear content and instruction. Moves are clearly explained and different angles are shown. The concept of dillemas and the structure around those dillemas are very useful. Learn a couple of useful details on many "traditional" side control attacks

Great review overall and takes the guessing game out of top pins. Gordon covers all areas of side mount and north south position. I work on getting better at the system and it has helped a ton in tournaments and training. Couldn’t recommend this instructional enough.

Awesome side control and north side details, really goes in depth on nut jst the submissions but on how to maintain the pin when someone tries to recover their guard.

So I have watched a few Gordon Ryan videos by now, and all are good. This one though I particularly liked and recommended because it is so focused and useful. Some other videos like his passing video are very good but it's so much material and its harder to absorb. This side control video is easy to digest and immediately implement into your game. I absolutely loved it.

He defiantly has a system he uses that has made him the best, and it is easy to learn I picked up on a lot of little details on things Ive been doing wrong and how to tighten things up. As Gordon puts up "This is how this will work against the best guys in the world, a lot of guys do it this other way but that will never work on anyone good"
