スクランブルの攻防が上手になりました。
I believe that this instructional is good for someone without wrestling experience (like me), but also for someone with wrestling experience as Gordon explains the difference of takedowns in jiu-jitsu vs traditional wrestling.
Very good instructional for learning the fundamentals of scrimmage wrestling. The system is clear, structured, and easy to follow, with a lot of useful details that make the techniques easier to apply during live rolling. Great resource for building confidence and understanding positional transitions.
This is probably one of if not the best video to begin learning the basics of take downs for bjj
Amazing. I've really levelled up thanks to the information in Gordon's instructionals. He has identified a long standing hole in BJJ and this instructional contains the information to start filling that hole.
I've struggled with takedowns for a WHILE, and these foundations filled many holes that I've had in my game.
I found this very easy to understand. As usual, much of what Gordon shows makes more sense after the rolling commentary. As a guard player looking to finally get more standing done, I enjoyed this video.
great details

Beginners Guide To Success
amazing, I learnt a lot
breaking down the necessary actions for the scramble that will increase your productive offensive and defensive cycles
I never wrestled in my life and stand up is a scary proposition due to little knowledge. This course has given me the courage to engage in more stand up exchanges.
Pretty basic overview of broad standup concepts. Gordon isn’t really known for his standup and he def doesn’t appear as strong here as he does in his other instructionals. His standup game is kinda lazy and reactionary, meaning it’s based mostly on waiting for his opponent to shoot and harassing the head until they do. Basic stuff. Wish he woulda sparred with bigger guys in the final two sections. Almost not worth watching. I didn’t watch the commentary. Can we get just one person over 200 lbs for the rolling footage, please?
I was having a real problem with the single leg this video has fixed my single leg dense 10 fold
I really enjoyed this one. Gives an excellent perspective for takedowns and defense using wrestling in a way that maximizes benefit for BJJ.
Es wird detailliert auf das offensive und defensive Gripfighting eingegangen, sowie auf die Verteidigung der wichtigsten Takedowns. Sehr empfehlenswert.
Very good beginners understanding scrimmage
Very detailed🤙
This is once again guaranteed Gordon Ryan quality. He goes through a lot of concepts that everyone is able to implement to improve their standing game. Very good stuff, highly recommended especially to those not so advanced in the standing game!
