  This instructional was worth every penny! Gordon covered the majority of scenarios one is likely to encounter in turtle guard! The power half is something I have added to my game after this instructional and has improved my back takes tremendously. I would say this makes a great combination with his back take DVD as well!

  What I love most about Gordon’s system is that he tells you everything your opponent is going to do to intelligently defend and then gives you all the options to counter them. He literally just gives you the blueprint with all the fat trimmed off. Implement it like the gospel and start winning.

  It's difficult to say anything about Gordon Ryan that hasn't either been said by someone else or that hasn't been definitely demonstrated by him in competition. I'll simply say that if you care at all about your skills vastly improving, purchase this and all of his other instructional videos. As I write this the corona virus pandemic is sweeping the country and many academies are shutting down for a little or reducing classes. If you're going to be at home anyway, might as well use that transportation money to get better at your game. In addition, you would be learning from the current champion who is probably not even at his prime yet. There's very little reason not to purchase this if you actually care about learning. Cannot thank the team enough for putting this content out.

  Mr. Ryan knocks it out of the park again with another amazing instructional. The knowledge this young man has and the way he is able to explain everything is absolutely incredible. This DVD had all the details I needed to always win in certain positions. Cant say enough good things about this DVD as well as his others. Looking forward to getting anything this guy comes out with.

  Comprehensive primer on dealing with partners turtle defense. Gordon give clear and concise explanations of why you are doing a specific sequence of moves based on partners reaction and weight distribution. This set cuts out the nearly infinite number of low percentage moves and teaches you where and how to focus your time. After watching this set you'll feel like Neo from the Matrix: "I know Jiu Jitsu" or at the very least how to deal with the turtle.
