Worth the time and effort
Very worthy of your time, money and effort. I am familiar with memory systems such as the memory palace, or memory walks. This instructional does a great job of addressing these systems and then helps to apply them to BJJ. Not only with concrete and detailed examples but by giving you the method to address for future use and for areas outside of BJJ - grocery list, names, numbers, etc. It will take a little bit of work, but it is well worth the time and effort!

As someone who is both older and sometimes overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, I found Ron White’s B.R.A.I.N. Method to be a game-changer. I really appreciate how Ron draws from a wide range of sources—historical philosophers, old-school martial arts legends, and modern BJJ scholars—to build a system that feels grounded and inspiring. There are plenty of memory programs out there, but what sets this apart is how practical it is for the early stages of BJJ learning. As a white belt, it gives me a framework I can actually play with to organize techniques, concepts, and progress in a way that sticks. Great product overall. Honestly, I wish I had this when I first started—it would have made my journey a lot smoother.
One of the best introductions to memory techniques I've seen. Even if you decide to pursue further training in memory techniques, this will serve as a great foundation to begin pursuing more advanced work.
