Excellent roadmap
Good advice from a world class competitor and this comes with a really nice eBook
Learning never ends
Some interesting insights into the mentality needed to attain black belt, from a legend of the sport.
Interesting to hear the mindset of a high level competitor and coach.
Tom gives really great advice here for folks along the spectrum of their jiujitsu careers. really great information and wisdom from someone who's been in the game a long time.
Was great to watch when I first got my white belt. Helped me improve my mindset and acclimatise to BJJ life. Highly recommended.
Should be required viewing for anyone serious about bjj
Tom DeBlass always bring helpful wisdom, and this helps put the journey in perspective
Tom DeBlass is really good at explaining his perspective on things. His dedication to the art definitely shows in this mindset instructional.
Great material to keep you motivated to stay on path. Makes you think about why you show up to class and to change up any negative thoughts that might be holding you back from growing into a better person, not just a bjj practitioner.
Great Mindset. Thank you
I was om the fence about buying this dvd. I am super happy I did. Tom covers every subject possible (of course led by Todd's questioning) Everything that I have contemplated and thought about Tom covers. Tom is extremely practical in his advice and seems like a level headed and just good guy. Who else would you want to get this advice from, but someone who has done it all...MMA, BJJ, Etc..... I've been studying for 5 years and also do Muay Thai and did two years of Krav Maga. I will be watching this series several more times just to always remind myself why I love this sport so much. Thank you Tom and Todd and BJJ Fanatics for another over the top series!
Great motivation and insight of mental toughness
Really good insights & lessons from a top level black belt, I highly recommended it.
Very good. Tom is a true jiu-jitsu thinker.
Interesting and insightful look into the long path of becoming a bjj martial artist. Different from the x's and o's aspect of the game but still a good watch.
Great content - just what I was after!
Everyone's different. Tom DeBlass has his thoughts that's different from my instructor or anyone's like Firas Zahabi or any of the Gracies. But, the good thing is that in this video, Tom will 1) reveal all the cards of how to achieve your goals and 2) his reasoning behind his answers. Take it with a grain of salt. But, I think it's also a valuable salt to consider.
Tom really opens up on a lot of things that BJJ practitioners think about but cannot find answers to. I really enjoyed this video series and personally I can say that it helped me "organize" my thoughts on BJJ. If you are feeling stuck or confused with BJJ, this series for sure will help you find some answers, even if you did not know what the issue you are having is. Tom is A class and a truly amazing BJJ coach.
Good insights
