Amazing!
As a passer this video is an absolute must!!
A awesome methodology
As a white belt, I may not know what I’m talking about, but I didn’t feel that this video lived up to its billing as really going deep into the ‘science’ of Lepri’s insane guard passing. I had seen a video on YouTube where he went into detail about his understanding of the importance of posture, base and balance and how those things intercept. I was expecting there to be a lot on the concepts of guard passing here, and then the techniques - but it starts from the techniques, and you have to come to see the concepts rom there . Maybe I have grown used to Danaher’s videos where he explains the concept and then shows it in context. At the same time, I am at this point in time facing simpler guards. Lucas says that he always faces the knee shield or reverse de la Riva, so I would imagine this video is great for blue belts and above. Given the title, it would have been great to have more on opening guards from different postures and bases (Lucas is generally stood up in most of the techniques). Instruction on even how to properly stand etc, or exercises around keeping balance would have been useful too. Or maybe I just expect too much… He is one of the greatest guard passers of all time as I understand it, so it would have been cool to have a more comprehensive video going from simpler guard passes, up to these slightly more complex passes to counter the knee shield/de le Riva as he mentions. Admittedly, I have not yet watched the whole instructional, so there may be different approaches later in the video. If you’re comfortable attacking a guard from standing, then for sure you will learn a lot. Lucas’ instruction is very clear, and you can see the common themes between all his passes - sticking close and pinning the hips etc, always keeping one grip, following your opponent once passed to ensure position etc. Just would have liked more on the totality of his brilliant science.
Buy it now. Stop getting stuck in an elite fighter’s guard. I’ve even used some of the concepts in no gi. His voice is peaceful. He tells you to slow down at certain parts of the passes. Destroy knee shields. I even feel fresher after class. Less struggling - isn’t that the point. Be the best you can be and get it now. Ps the two hand grip on one armpit pass is so powerful you’re going to be looking for it!
Great details and instructions on knee cut pass. Professor Lepri show several scenarios from the position to help achieve the knee cut pass. This instructional will help you with the concept of the knee cut pass. If the knee cut pass is one of your go to passes, you will enjoy the content given in this instructional.
Instruction was good. Lucas is the man.

You guys are doing a great job. OSS.
Lukas has one of the best top game and this instructional fully proved that!
Great content here. Lucas dives deep into various guard passing systems, from basic knee cuts to complex lapel guard passes. This is must-have material for old school and new school jiu jitsu players.
Pressure passing in this series is gold. Especially since I like saving my energy for scrambled slow pressure passing is my thing.
I had a hard time passing lapel guards like the wormguard and the situp guard but with this instructional my guard passing game improved a lot! Thanks to Lucas Lepri for his knowledge!
I have yet to reach a year of practicing and have very little knowledge of passing anyone's guard. I was able to have success against more experienced grapplers with just watching how to remove the knee shield alone.
Really thorough passing instructional. Including some of the new aggravating guards. Far as I’m concerned the guy showing is as it’s good as it gets at it, so why go anyplace else?
I am learning ALOT but still finishing the videos!
The details that Lucas Lepri offers in this instructional are so game changing that it has changed the way I look at passing the guard. The very first day I tried applying some of the techniques in this instructional in live training was a massive success! I've got so much out of this instructional already and I'm still only on the first part of it! I would recommend this instructional to all BJJ practioners at all skill levels! It is excellent!
Great concepts and techniques. Love it!
Very detailed instructions from possibly the best top game player in the business
I watch a lot of videos and this one on passing by Lucas Lepri is excellent. Lucas explains each pass completely and with lots of small details that are very important. Like any jiu jitsu technique, prating over and over is the key. Practicing it correctly. Lucas gives you the details to do that. Very good video on passing by a great guard passer!
Excellent content, clear instruction and learnt from the best!
The best in the game breaking down his knee cut in every possible scenario. Plus a whole lot more for SLX, worm, etc etc.
Great instructional!
