short but sweet
I enjoyed the theory, it was nothing new but he shows a few good ways to offline with armdrags and explained the concepts well. I would recommend this to white belts or those new to grappling.
Good Concepts But...
Some good concepts but the instructional was very short and felt rushed. Also disorganized at times. The ideas are solid but the instructor needed to slow down.

The Side Theory Of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Tony Pacenski
Solid concepts and techniques, particularly for beginners looking for a simple, guiding idea to build an offensive guard game around. In this case: (1) focusing on one side of the body, (2) securing a dominant (out-)side angle. Some conceptual overlap with Aaron Benzrihem's "Basics To Advanced: Open Guard Engagement," but it has a different focus and contains more specific techniques. (Honestly recommend getting both products together if possible.) My favorite technique from this product is Pacenski's transition to the side closed guard off of a scissor sweep setup [Part 3, "Single Sleeve & Collar Side Dominance | New Angle of Attack (AOA)"]. This really got me thinking about how I (under-)utilize hip movement and angle changes as an offensive measure, and how I might turn a very basic technique like the scissor sweep into a well-rounded position full of possibilities rather than a one-off move that everyone sees coming and immediately shuts down or counters.

Response from BJJ Fanatics:fire:Finde your way to the side na matter what your goal is - it will become a way easier!
Professor Tony Pacenski provided a short but packed with concepts and general but precise pathways to get to the side no matter if you want to sweep, submit or take the back. Move yourself around your opponents limbs to the outSIDE of his limbs and body or move your opponents limbs inside your limbs and body. Use whatever gap you get to hunt for the side no matter if you have to go around or over or under. The second concept which is illustrated is hang your weight on your opponent whenever possible an be relentless when hunting for the outside. If you want a quick info how to hunt and get to the side from standig down to the ground without deep technical details - this is for you!
