great back escape system
This has become the blue print for my back defense just like its title! Highly recommend. Multiple viewing and drilling was needed for me to implement this style but it was worth it!

I recently purchased The Turtle and Back Defense Blueprint by Thiago Macedo to enhance my Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu skills as a 52-year-old beginner. This instructional is designed for practitioners at all levels, including beginners.  Macedo’s clear explanations and step-by-step demonstrations of turtle fundamentals, crab ride techniques, and advanced defensive strategies have significantly improved my understanding of the turtle position.  I now feel more confident in my defense during training sessions. I highly recommend this DVD to fellow beginners looking to strengthen their defensive game.
This is a really great turtle guard!
I think this is an absolutely necessary video if you want to study turtle guard as it contains a lot of amazing techniques! I'm still practicing, but I'm no longer afraid of being in the turtle position.

While back and turtle attacks evolved so much but back defense solutions are very limited. This is the godsend to humbles those back takers.

Amazing techniques on a really narrow topic. Thiago shows a well reasoned path of defense, paying great attention in leveling the learning curve. Really impressed on how cleverly the video is organised. You will start with overall well known techniques (but with a lot of hidden details i personally never get anywhere else) to land at the advanced techniques.
By far the best positional specific Instructional on turtle and back defense!
T. M. created an outstanding manual on turtle and back take defense. He exactly points out when to use which technique and what to be aware of. He teaches it form early to late stage defensex and escapes. He goes in depth over how to protect you knees when your opponent tries to take your back from standing behind you. He covers most of the common ways to attack the turtle and take the back, as well as crab ride and twister back takes as well as from standing and how to prefend/defend. Furthermore he points out when and how to protect your neck and when it is safe to just focus an the legs. He exlains also how all this techniques connect to each other and how to maneuver to the basic and fundamental escapes of high percentage and low risk. Also when to accept the back take, protect the neck and transfer to a more advangageous position to progress. His explaniations are on point and with a lots of details. Highly recommend!!
THE Essential Turtle and Back Escape Instructional
This is THE essential turtle and back defense instructional from the turtle god himself. You know its a good instructional to buy when Mikey Musumeci say he wishes he could have a private lesson or watch an instructional of this guy's for turtle. Now its out!! I have been really studying defense and own a good deal of turtle instructionals. Just volume 1 alone contained specific answers and ideas for almost all my questions and problem situations that have been coming up for me in training not answered in my other turtle instructionals.
