Good treatment of moves to avoid to prevent serious injuries. This is a sport that is inherently dangerous and it ids good to see reasonable precautions, that protect others while not watering down the sport.

this should all be a part of gym educates around the world. As someone who's seen plenty of injuries in my gym over the years, a lot of these injuries can navigated or prevented. Quite mindful for those who want longevity in their bjj life.

This was a great resource for reducing the risk of injury. Danaher offers alternative moves for some of the dangerous ones that will keep you off the mats due to injury.

As a physiotherapist and novice BJJ practitioner, I immediately saw the value in this video. I want to train for years but knowing the common causes of injury in BJJ is crucial for EVERYONE. Even better, it’s “Delivered by Danaher” so you know it’s a quality product. Time to get this the first video we all watch when new people Jiu. A club!

A great resource on an often overlooked topic - something to add to every curriculum
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging::call_me_hand::skin-tone-2:Free instructional from John Danaher!
Once again John Danaher demonstrates an ability to identify and deliver on an issue that is central to all students of BJJ. Having recently recovered from hamstring tendon reattachment surgery following injury in competition from a heavier opponent jumping into guard (a legal move for white belt under SJJF rules), I can attest to the importance of this video. Kudos to Mr Danaher for providing us this distillation of his decades of experience, for free nonetheless. I hope all coaches and gym owners take the time to consider deeply the material presented.
