Excellent resource for solving very specific issues. The overall concept is sound (anyone familiar with other combat sports will understand how to use feints to open opponents up, this is applied to grappling here with some very specific examples). This isn't a complete system, but using this method to solve some issues will help you spot similar solutions in other areas.
beautiful concept
Great!!!
Great thoughts and can implement these techniques immediately
This has really opened up my eyes to the upper body and lower body dilemma
At this point, if you don’t have an Aussie accent, can you even jiu-jitsu?
Great options details
Great resource and excellent insight
The concepts are great, easy to follow and not over explained.
Really eye opening if you’re not plugged into the concept of using the upper and lower body of your opponent against each other, and using your upper and lower body WITH each other.
This course has a lot of great insight, key details are explained well. Josh shows a great system has helped bridge that approach of moving from one area to the next. He explains very well this approach of being fluid and chaining transitions together.
As you'll know if you've followed Josh, he's very good at explaining things and showing his understanding in a simple way that works, which is what he's done here. If I'm being pedantic though I don't think it's a concept he's showing but a tactic, and one that is easy to use and understand effectively. The things I found more helpful though were the helpful little tips he mentioned during the techniques, as I immediately started using these to great effect within my game. I'm sure it'd be really helpful to those practitioners that use leg locks in particular, I don't usually though for disability reasons.
Not your ordinary A-to-Z instructional, rather an excellent instructional aimed at all levels addressing the importance of "thinking outside the box" by chaining upper and body attacks, rather than insisting on "lost position".
Clear and practical application
Excellent concepts that have helped me a lot. Different approach to the usual instructionals. Josh is a great coach, I highly recommend 👊
Josh is talented instructor! Very easy to understand and tackle new angles of Jiujutsu. Very good value. I'm looking forward more content from Josh on BJJ FANATICS. Josh give tons of good info on his YT channel. This guy is good!
The biggest problem I have in martial arts is setting up moves. This helps fix that immensely.
The main think Josh preaches is not just how to random moves it is how to set them up. WHich is a big problem for someone like myself and most beginners to be honest. This will help fix that.
Great
Great details
I enjoyed the chain plus the getting the concepts of why he does them allow for you to apply into different area of my game.
great details. just wish there was more
Josh has been putting out great content on his Youtube channel for a while and this content is even better. For less money than a private lesson, you can have top tier instruction from a proven competitor. The tactics in this goldmine of lessons can be deployed immediately!
Josh has an excellent teaching style of being comprehensive in his explanation of the ‘why’ behind each technique yet very concise in his delivery. This makes the content easy to digest and retain, and more importantly seamless to recall on the mats. I like how all of the techniques shared are for key positions in the sport as part of an all encompassing approach. This instructional is clearly intended to make you a more well rounded grappler, rather than just focusing on one aspect of the game. I highly recommend and look forward to seeing more of the same in the future from Josh!
Easy to digest and immediately applicable connections between techniques, demonstrated clearly and backed up by logic and mechanics. Consistent theme throughout also provoked thought/exploration between moves already in my game outside of this instructional. Refreshing instructional.
