Excellent video!!!
Warming Up The 10th Planet Way
This is a great instructional with solid, well-structured material. The warm-ups are clearly demonstrated and designed to build coordination, movement, and technique in a logical way. A lot of the sequences really shine when done with a training partner, since many of the drills involve transitions and reactions that are hard to simulate alone. I’ve been using a grappling *****, which works fine for getting the motions down, but it’s definitely not the same as having a live partner. Still, even with a *****, the material is valuable and has helped me improve my movement and flow. If you do have a partner, you'll get even more out of it. Overall, it's a great resource especially if you're into the 10th Planet style and want to tighten up your fundamentals.
Best way to Warm-up
My new favorite way to do warm ups now!!! And a great way to learn the 10th Planet System and refine technique at the same time!!!
The best way to Warm Up!!!
I love these warm ups!!! Using drills to warm up has been one of the best things to improve my jiu-jitsu as well as my own kids jiu-jitsu!!! You get to practice a lot more technique based movements. Making it easier to learn new techniques, and improving your current technique. Warming up your body, at the same time as sharpening your movement. Definitely add this to your training!!!

Warming up the 10th-Planet Way
I have implemented some of these drills and noticed an improvement in recognising when to utilise them in training and noticed an improvement in those in my club that do them as well.
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Great partner and solo drills
If you're interested in elevating your 10p game, and are unsure of what movements to practice look no more. This has solo and partner drills

Perfect explanation of the 10th Planet warm-ups!
I watch this many times to refresh my memory and ensure I am getting the technique done properly!
10P warmups - very derailed!!
This is very, detailed breakdown of all the 10th Planet warm-up drills. Far more in-depth than anything you will find on YouTube. If you really want to have these explained to you in expert and minute detail, then I highly recommend you check out this instructional
Response from BJJ Fanatics:hugging:Quite a duplication
Five stars for the content itself.m, but it duplicates another dvd of Maslany. Still, new explanations of the techniques. I’m satisfied after all
Commit to learning and practicing these drills and your BJJ knowledge and ability will definitely improve (long review)
This review has been done from two perspectives. Firstly, the value to you and your training partner(s) to learn and regularly repeat these drills and the potential beneficial impact on your BJJ knowledge and abilities; and secondly more directly how well this instructional will assist you to learn the drills and perform the incorporated techniques correctly, after all there is less value to you if your technique is not performed correctly. There are several web articles that discuss the benefits of learning and working the 10th planet warmups (No-Gi) and in summary the benefits can include: learning a range of techniques and responses to techniques while incorporating them into your muscle memory; creating a commitment to yourself and partner to learn the techniques and sequences; improving your ability to flow / transition from technique to technique; and improving your agility for BJJ. The drills themselves are performed by two people. No one person is passive, as is the case with many other traditional drills. There is continual movement with your partner. One person moves within the sequence and then the other person seamlessly moves in response to their partner’s move. You need to be constantly thinking and reacting by moving to the next technique in the sequence. Once the drill has been performed the drill is performed again, however the person starting the drill changes. The drills are designed to be realistic, but perhaps it can be argued not in every case and are structured around a theme: A – granbys; B – Hail Mary (late stage submission escapes); C – pressure passes; D – standing passes; E – quarter guard; F – butterfly guard; G – top half guard passes and H – open guards. As expected, the instructional reflects this structure and for each theme there are 4 drills, 32 in total and corresponding chapters. The instructional has a total run time of 2 hours and 17 minutes. I and several training partners are currently working through the drills. The first thing that we noted was that this is not going to be a short process, immediately we recognised that our flexibility and agility could only get better. We accepted that some of our techniques would be classed as work in progress and as time passed improvements were made in performing techniques, to our agility, and confidence in recalling each sequence. We were reliant on using the instructional to teach the drills. Its worth noting that the order of the drills (A to H) does not appear to reflect a logical progression of easier to harder. This instructional has been created by Zach Maslany and Jon Blank. They deliver different volumes of the instructional (Z. M. 1 & 2 and J. B. 3 & 4). Zach Maslany adds commentary as he demonstrates the drills with the uke. In this instructional he tends to speak quickly and moves rapidly through the drills. In some situations, he goes through the drill and given the length of the drill when you are first learning it would have been useful if the drill sequence had been broken down and separate parts taught. For me it would make it easier to repeat and memorise. Jon Blank like Zach Maslany adds commentary as he demonstrates the drills, however his pace seems to be slightly slower. For both instructors they repeat the drill multiple times. One of the things you will note is how much good material is included in this instructional. Clearly within the time constraints, the number of drills and reflective of the approach that they have taken to this instructional they can’t really focus on each technique included in a single drill sequence. There are no notable issues with video quality, however sound seems to have a small level of distortion (i.e., an echo). The instructional has been filmed in a training facility. FYI the preview is the complete chapter 8 of Volume 4 (H3 - deep half guard). Ideally, there is a strong case to buy this instructional if you wish to improve your knowledge and BJJ ability; your mental skills for BJJ; and your transitional skills, however you really need to have the commitment of a training partner or coach to work on learning and practicing the drills. Without the ability to adequately practice this material with a partner I would imagine for most people they would find it difficult to learn the sequence and definitely not gain the full benefits of this instructional. Ideally, I would have liked the instructors to have slowed down the delivery of the material and for the longer sequences to be broken it down into more manageable parts or to break out some of the more complex parts of the sequences.
Amazing
So much more than a warm up instructional
