Excellent core and drills
Professor Xande’s drills focus on fundamental defenses against positions. I appreciate those details from someone known for having a unpassable.
Great instruction!
This instructional provides a detailed explanation on how to escape from any situation. Even just watching Xande's North South Escape is worth the purchase.

This is what white belts SHOULD be taught. Movements, drills and concepts that make the guard an actual guard. Alot of schools I've been to teach 2 moves to beginners then shrimp across floor (poorly) ok now we spar. That leads to people flopping around on floor and getting injured. This go's into great detail on the basics of defending yourself from your back, why your hand or leg should be where it is and how it translates into techniques. If your a professor this should be what your teaching white belts.

Found myself stuck in side control bottom a lot. Still do, but at least now I have a better chance to escape.

Escapes are key, the first step to cover in your bjj instruction. Learning from an athlete that won everything and had never been hold in a pin (guard passed) had a great appeal for me. Instead of teaching only techniques he explains the principles that rule that part of bjj. A must have.

Xande just retired, but he leaves an amazing legacy. I'm going to study his guard retention. The fact that he hasn't had his guard passed for so long against the world's best blows my mind.

Xande applies his diamond methodology to escapes, and he is one of the greatest competitors of all time. This will take a while to get at the level I want, but it will be well worth it in the future.

Framing concepts really improves your bottom game, also the drills and the exercises are good for the strength training. Must be best with Xande's diamond guard concept and budokon mobility courses.

Diamond Concept is awesome. The exercises are great, the concept changes how I think about escapes, and control. I highly recommend, put this in my tool bag for next roll

Excellent instruction from a legend of the sport. These techniques have helped me feel stronger from the bottom position, especially when rolling with larger partners. There are small framing details that make a world of difference. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their escapes series’ and movement from the bottom.
