  Matt's videos are all great, he makes it really simple to follow and gives 3 stages of defense for each submission, he also shows you what your opponent is trying to do with the submission, so you actually learn the submissions too... overall really good content and teaching...

• Excellent Content!

  I found this video to be incredibly helpful. It provides excellent content throughout covering the most common submission attempts with techniques to either avoid or escape depending on the stage of the submission. Matt's demonstrations are clear and concise without unnecessary chatter or repetition, which makes the learning process more efficient for me. Although this is a NoGi video, I believe the concepts can be easily applied to Gi.
