Choibar
i really like this video and I can't wait to start using choibar out on the mats.
Very Well Done
This instructional was excellent. It has three parts to the DVD/instructional as opposed to some of the other videos here with like 10 discs that make it difficult for you to retain any of the information. His demonstrations were also executed from different angles that make it easier for you to learn the techniques. His explanations were concise and to the point. Overall, this instructional is highly recommended.
The OG
Really useful, especially the figure 11 concept
Korean-Flavored Armbar
I'm an old school guy, so the leg lock revolution and takedown refocusing is new. So many new techniques and games but my school don't do heel hooks or nogi much. We start on our butts most rolls so concentrating much on takedowns doesn't make sense. Choi bar from shoulder crunch is a new school game I can use in my circumstance. And boosts my end game to sub especially from bottom where I rarely finish from.
Must have
Choibar by Yongwon Choi is a must-have for anyone serious about mastering the Choibar technique. Although many people use Choibar, there are very few DVDs that focus specifically on this technique. To truly understand its essence, this DVD, created by the originator himself, Yongwon Choi, is essential.

Clear Instruction
Yongwon provides clear instruction on the technique that he invented/innovated. His English is fluent enough that he can describe all of the details and steps for each technique. He covers entries from many types of guards, sweeps, and finishes from the Choi Bar.
