Goated ahh material
Precise and clear instruction!!
I. D. created an action reaction based collar and sleeve system. No matter iif the bottom or top player initiate the action. First he is going deeply into the key facts of collar and sleeve. Then it comes to the retention with a very clear step by step approach to against the different guard gripping and passing attempts and to use them to set up your attacks. He points out really clear how valuable the half lasso is in terms of retention and setting up attacks. His attacking system is based around the omoplata attack. He combines it with tranisitions and set ups of sweeps and triangle attacks as well as armbars. He guids you step by step through each technique with very clear explanations and gives you a bunch of angles and repetitions in moderate to full speed. Highly recommend!!
Great approach, the way the teacher teaches is very nice to watch.
Amazing instructional, great breakdown and informative.
I really needed to improve my guard game and the Colar and sleeve guard is a very versetile guard with many transitions to other guards. Isaac has a great teaching style and very systematic arpoach. The instructional is very omoplata oriented and I dont like omopla too much. However the details for guard rentention were very useful and he coveres so many things I had questions about. Lile how to deal when a person goes back and you shrimp and move to get closer. How to deal when someone goes down on a kneee how to fight from sit up guard. This instructional covers all of the most important aspects of the collar and sleeve guard and many situations you find yourself in. It improved my guard game imensly I liked the sweeps from sit up guard the most and the sissor sweep varietions againts an oponent in combat base. Over all its not a super long instuctional but it covers the major points of the collar and sleeve guard
Good instructional. Clearly explains techniques.
Cleanest system around :u1F9FC:
Very good video. Very different of the Romulo Barral's video.
Great instructional. It goes very well with Romulo Barral Cross Collar sleeve instructional.
Great instructional, very good approach
great
Great instructional, clear instruction and doesn't have any filler.
I am starting to work on collar sleeve and was looking for a good intro to the guard. This instructional was helpful and even shows other guards like DLR, sit up guard that it links to. I will plan on working on the details from this instructional over the next couple of weeks and hope to get better at this guard!
Great content. Clear explanation. And with a bit of practice and adjustment, nearly everything translates on the mats.
Awesome stuff, added another layer to my collar sleeve game
Amazing
Not on par with quality of other videos on this site. Camera is clearly hand held and constantly shaking. It makes you nauseous. Audio is not the greatest. Appears done in single take as teacher and student and regularly talking to each other to figure out what they should do next. Teacher seems very knowledgeable, but would have loved to get more details rather than seeing 10 angles of everything with no narration in those parts.
vraiment aimer surtout le chapitre DLR :)
Isaac is one of 4 Americans to win the Brazilian Nationals. This DVD demonstrates an amazing foundation for anyone looking to start playing collar sleeve. I knew nothing of the position, personally as an average jiu-jitsu guy. The best parts aren't really the attacks, but actually the concepts. Things like "hips to grips" will stick with me forever. Concepts over techniques as he says. He's also is a really good teacher, and you can tell he knows a lot about this position inside and out 5 stars for sure!
Its great to see variations the omoplata and aso get the introduction of guard-mechanics of this guard. It is not my favorite guard but I end up there once or twice per session and can better navigate the possibilites from that guard now, thank you
Isaac explained the many techniques well. The techniques were repeated in 3 or 4 different angles to offer a 360 degree view. No time wasted as the pace of the video is just right. Good stuff. Keep it coming please.
This is a super underrated collar sleeve guard video. More people should own this video ! It covers the guard retention of CS guard. Isaac has a very clear and precise method of explaining. This video covers foot on hip variation, DLR variation and combat base ! Must buy for a comprehensive collar sleeve guard series
Great and clear instructions. I Highly recommend this one for sure .
