Learning a lot from Isaac. He's one of the best BJJ players known for the collar sleeve guard, and it shows. Very thorough and clear details.
good concepts and details. clear understanding of the guard and breakdowns.
Isaac is a good instructor and has an easy to follow system for the collar and sleeve
amazing technique!!
Very good explanation of the techniques and easy to understand and implement in my game.
a lot of small great details , worth every cent!
Easy to follow and great info!
It is about how 1. set up, retain and regain the collar and sleeve 2. how to attack with the triangle and omoplata. How to use the scissor sweep and how to set up one with the other. Sharp and on point. Highly recommend!
Super explanatory very well done highly recommended
I'm getting older so certain guards are getting harder to play, so I decided to work on this guard. It is a much simpler guard to work with and I enjoy the techniques he's shown.
Isaac's collar sleeve is the best in the competitive scene now, and he breaks it down here. Although he has a more updated version available on his own site, the core idea of what he does to be so successful is laid out here, procedurally and clearly. This guard makes a lot more sense to me for having gone through it.
I. D. shows gow to set up, retain and regain the collar and sleeve. He shows how to attack with the triangle and omoplata. How to use the scissor sweep and how to set up one with the other. Sharp and on point!
detailed.very useful.
A great starter for collar / sleeve guard, good instruction, nice details. Highly recommend if you are a fan of collar / sleeve guard
Isaac just did a DLR seminar for us and this is a great addition to the game.
I like how it is structured, for example, you can always use follow up attack after certain collar & sleeve initation. I use it mainly after my closed guard fails or I start from bottom in open guard. Really good golden pieces in this instructional!
Very Good
Great to add to your long distance game.
Well done and comprehensive.
I'm fairly new to collar and sleeve guard but Isaac is so good at teaching with clear instructions and great angles for different views to get a better understanding of movement and control. Very excited to progress with this guard and this video will definitely help me on my way!
Great instructional
There aren’t enough quality instructionals on the core basics of gi based Jiu Jitsu like collar and sleeve so this was an excellent find. It starts off with the basics but then builds up to more intermediate techniques. The collar and sleeve lends itself to Omoplatas so there’s quite a bit of content on the subject.
There are many of the Collar & Sleeve videos. This one is a kind of a gently introduction to that guards. The content is well structured. It begins of the correct position, guard retention and then attacks. I like that the each position is repeated at different angles and you can see the opponent body parts and the reaction at any angle. Also, the goals of the opponent is explained, so the guard player knows what the common moves would expect. I would recommend for someone that is starting with the C&S guard.
Great Video
Really nice overview to collar sleeve guard. Clear explanation and nice reguard drills. I would recommend this instructional to anyone looking for a good technique system
