Good in theory
This was a great video and help me out a-lot in my game. Was able to see the difference immediately.
perfect for mma control
Easily Craigs best instructional you can tell he really put the time in on this one. Easy to implement. Really good for mma fighters with the leg pins.
I really enjoyed this instructional as someone who always found wrestling confusing this helped explain a lot
Love this, one of my favorite wrestling instructors is a BJJ guy lol
Great stuff if you want to make your trainingpartner hate you
Great concepts to think about!
One of the best instructionals
Hands down his best video!
What this video lacks in sheer volume of techniques, it more than makes up for with its detailed explanations of control. Coming from a wrestling background, many of the techniques were already familiar, but the instruction constantly gave me those "I never thought to apply it that way in jiu-jitsu" moments. After about a month of implementing what I learned, I've noticed a significant improvement in my control, pressure, and ability to keep opponents pinned. If you're looking to tighten up your top game rather than collect more moves, this instructional delivers.

Good
I can now competently ride a man!
Good folkstyle wrestling techniques for holding your opponent down
Great as a general grappling instructional. Not covering traditional bjj scoring positions but positions that provide more control and also are great to slow down the explosive guys. Have really enjoyed implementing this stuff into my game as it's exactly the overall grappling style I really like, rather than bjj specific stuff.
Very good
One of the best instructionals I have seen. For me it was a new concept, that i now use from every “classic” position. Amazing control using your legs and your weight. Easy to include small parts day by day in your game. Very good to combine with the BJJFanatics inside camping from GR and pressure game from Adam .W.
My coach taught us material from this instructional in ELA approach and it was brutal! These techniques work!!
Awesome instructional!
As a bigger guy who is consistently at the bottom of my weight class, I have always felt like the traditional Bjj pins (side control, mount, etc) weren’t as strong as they should be. A bigger opponent seemed to easily push me off of them when I got into a scoring position. Craig Jones is changing the game with these pins and I felt the impact immediately on the mats. I am now focusing exclusively on controlling their legs as much as possible, then slowly getting to a high percentage submission. Because of this, I am also able to roll for more rounds because my opponents are escaping much less and I am less fatigued. Highly recommend this to anyone one, regardless of belt level. Almost all of my regular training partners commented on how my game has changed after finishing this course!
imho, craig is the best jiu jitsu athlete there is. the core of what makes him great is his intelligence. obviously this leads to him being a great instructor as well. the content is great, explanation easy to understand and laid out well. i have bought other instructional video's from craig, and plan to buy a few more. just going to take time to practice and perfect. even though i am an old guy, new to the sport, i still have gotten a lot of value from his content.
This instructional has a huge impact on my decision making processes and how I approach holding people down. It is a positional grey area that you can keep the match in to make your training partners play a game they don't have a lot of time practicing. It feels like a cheat code to turn purple belts into blue belts and blue belts into white belts. I have rewatched the whole instructional at least 5 times.
Great overall addition to your game, a fundamental instructional that everyone should watch.
Honestly one of the best instructionals for whitebelts. Teaches one many great techniques to control your opponent.
