• Very detailed and theoretical

  While some might be frustrated with Danaher's theory, I found it useful to explain why certain moves work and others do not under certain circumstances. It can be overwhelming, but I have found it to be helpful already. I haven't finished the instructional yet, and I am already applying some of the principles. In fact, a black belt at my gym had noted his surprise at how my guard retention has improved.

• Huge difference after watching it

  My guard retention went through the roof one day at my gym, and has been getting the attention of the purple and brown belts in my gym. At first I thought this instructional was too repetitive, and didn't offer much actual instruction, but about halfway through it it's conceptual approach proved crazy affective. It's essential.
