Love this details :P every day 20 mins give me alot on mat, I so forward in escapes : ) I back to this videos all the time, because I forget all the time too haha = D
Great resource and explanation for fundamentals must have for libraries for all belts
altogether exceptional instructional, but it requires the right viewing strategy. Watch it straight through once just to absorb the overarching philosophy and take those core fundamentals—framing, bridging, and posture—directly to the mats. Don't try to memorize every dense, analytical breakdown on the first pass. The true brilliance of this set reveals itself when you revisit the material months or even years later. As your grappling IQ deepens, re-watching these modules exposes a wealth of critical micro-adjustments and subtle details you inevitably missed the first time around. It is a masterclass that functions perfectly as an initial blueprint for surviving bad spots, while doubling as an enduring reference manual to continually refine your escapes as your game evolves.
very good
The video clearly explains and breaks down what to do to escape pins. I haven’t watched the whole set of videos yet but even the shrimping and bridging techniques have helped me in my guard recovery a bit.
Best Escapes Ever
I felt like this product and the way John explains escapes made me progress so much faster and actually have a game plan in mind when rolling almost like a check list when trying to escape.
Must need prerequisite if you want to be good at this art!
Just looking for some affective escapes against a few with a strong wrestling pedigree. Nothing too flashy. So if you want easy to apply escapes with great detail in instruction then it’s this!
Has already improved my game plan
Excelente tutorial para avanzar más rápido y mejor en el Bjj.
.
This instructional took me from a completely lost beginner, to being able to reliably escape pins from people near my skill level. Would highly recommend.
Loved it
Great Detail in the course for beginners and on!
Danaher has a well-earned reputation for being an elite instructor. Here he helps us with one of the most important areas of jiu-jitsu - escapes. You don't want to get stuck on the bottom, and as Danaher says, it's important to have good escapes when you are on top so that you open up your game and attack, and don't hold on for dear life because you're scared of getting reversed and put on the bottom.
Classic Danaher instructional, very complete and detailed.
.
Learned a lot of practical and simple techniques that work really well against people my own size. Some of the concepts taught in the videos carry over to other positions very well too.
My goal as a white belt is very much “don’t die” and these escapes have really helped with positional awareness and the entire idea of “position over submission” as a beginner. Highly reccomend.
Amazing content. Wish I knew these details when I first started! If you're on the fence about if it's worth the money, go for it.
Words fail me when trying to express how much this instructional has helped me. I’ve been using it for a few years, and it always comes in handy. Go ahead and buy it—you won’t regret it.
I back here and back and back, need remember all of it haha to be good in this sport xd
The escapes feel natural and are easy to drill.
This is widely regarded as the best foundational instruction for many years now. Absolutely agree- every minute contains a gem
