I used to wrestle in high-school and this instructional allowed me to funnel my skillset almost 1:1 into jiujitsu. Obviously this isnt the only way you should be grappling, but without this instructional I would not have found the same success applying my wrestling into submissions.
Great video with explanations about why and how different techniques work.
Game channger
The concepts are straight forward and I really appreciate him explaining why you may pick this method of pinning versus a more traditional approach. I think it is a good tool to have and could be something you may never see in your gym if they follow a strict traditional curriculum.
I was surprised at how much this improved my pinning
I'm really enjoying this stuff
Great stuff on pinning, it's easy now to make training partners missurable
This instructional has changed the way I look at positions, and pinning in general. Fantastic stuff
was not a fan of crab rides before this, but after watching and playing around with it - new level to my offense/pinning game
Awesome
great stuff on pinning
Another great instructional by CJ. Thank you for new insights and principles.
This is a good material to bridge traditional BJJ control and classic wrestling rides.
Been wanting this instructional for forever - can't wait to start going through it!
Great content. I learned alot.
Great stuff
I love this!
Refreshing, open minded take on top control considering techniques from different styles like freestyle/folkstyle wrestling. Big fan of the claw.
Yes, who was the demonstrating partner, I learned these techniques at middle puberty. My uncle taught me it's pritty good, but don't put your all eggs in one basket. Good review good for MMA but size and weight matters with this series as well as experience.
As a white belt you can get stuck in awkward positions that are unconventional. This instructional teaches you principles to have effective control in this unconventional positions.
Craig Jones is not only an excellent BJJ athlete but also a great educator and coach. Thank you!
This is mind blowing. I finally realize how my coach constantly dismantles me and it's by using THIS STUFF.
