Prifessor O. C. did an absolute outstanding instructional! He points out how our feet play a key-role in propper positioning our whole body to protect yourself/prevent passing and if needed to defend by redirect your uke's energy to get into offensive scenarios. In context with pin escapes he points out and shows some clear examples how to occupy space instead of creating space by using propper body positioning led by your feet again. Absolutely recommended!!!!

I've been lucky enough to know professor Couto in person. he is one of the best teacher around, explaining simple but really effective jiu jitsu. I would recommend it to anybody

Couto has some good moves in this instructional, but they are not all for beginners like myself. Some of them of them are unnecessarily high risk in my opinion.

Denna video beskriver de mest väsentliga principerna som man behöver ta till sig om man ska få en effektiv och hållbar och fungerande jujutsu. Octavio är en av världens bästa BJJ instuktörer (troligtvis den bästa) och genom att applicera de universella principer han lär ut kan man utvecklas i sin jujutsu på kort tid. Högsta rekommendation att se denna video!

Octavio has been my coach since white belt. His conceptual approach to BJJ is unique and will carry you through your progression of learning the finer points of BJJ rather than the reverse of that. He’s an amazing coach and if you cannot catch him at a seminar, this series is just as good and reviewable. I’d highly recommend to anyone at any stages of BJJ.
