The more I rewatch this dvd the more problematic I get to my classmates. Pro stuff!
Best Spider fundamentals you can get Good explanations Good video quality and sound Recommend
Great info well laid out. Thorough progression found the video immensely useful In my game development.
Great techniques to add to your open guard game.
Exactly what I needed to emprove my game. Thanks a lot
One of the best teaching his best - just great
Rómulo gets down to the small details of the spider guard, with very clear instruction on each technique. Great instructional!!
This is a game changing guard instructional.
Great insight on spider
So Badass, the details are incredible! Romulo explains everything in a way to help you better understand what you are trying to accomplish. He also demonstrates what to do when stuff goes wrong. I have already held classmates in my spider guard longer and now have a higher successful sweep rate. Just buy this!!! Even if spider isn’t your thing you will learn what your up against.
Great techniques as usual from Professor Romulo Barral!
This is the best dvd in my collection ( and I have a lot of dvds) by far. Romulo knowgledge of spider guard is outstanding and also he is great teacher.
Romulo is a master! Game changing dvd!
Good
Very effective techniques and high level instruction!
Spider guard masterclass. I play a lot of lasso and spider and this boost my confidence and overall skills in spider guard. Romulo is a legend and true master of spider, so i ensure everyone this is worth every penny.
Romulo’s knowledge on spider is second to none
romulo barall very useful well but it can't be compared to lucas lepri.
Loved it and helped a lot. Open guard is my fav game and this was a great addition. Professor Barral explains it more as a system than just techniques. The best spider guard set out there Was a great addition to the Danaher , Lucas Valente, Mikey Musumeshi and Matheus Gabriel open guard dvds!
I felt spider guard was way too advanced for me but recently started to use it and found it much easier. After watching the first few moves I feel more than ready to upgrade my game and feel like the spider guard will be my go to area once we are allowed to get back on the mats. Oss!
I started BJJ in 2008 and stopped for many years so I have been trying to get back well and I Spider Guard is one of the things that have been since those days and before so I happy to see how well structured is this DVD , also in the first 2 volumes there are very good basic details nobody taught me 12 years ago and that work very well for older grapplers too as many people think Spider is just for young flexible guys and avoid it .
Great instructional about how to use the spider guard against kneeling and standing opponents. Romulus style of teaching is efficient and provides you with enough details to use the moves in sparing. Highly recommended
I have another spider guard instructional from another website. The person that gave the instructional is a multiple time world champ just like Romulo however this instructional(Romulo’s) is next level. It goes so much more in depth on the concepts that are important to retaining guard and troubleshooting opponents actions. Every technique shown involves the spider guard foot on biceps so it’s very relevant. 5 stars
Romulo Barrals spider guard techniques are very effective and I was able to apply them short after starting with this video. I expect to progress a lot with it!
After my 19 years in BJJ and 9 years like black belt,I am happy to be back in school again.Simply amazing and top quality instructions from a real champion and a real champions maker Romulo.
