The master of filthiness bring us another gem... like the one that made me enthusiastic about him, we are miles away from BJJ or conventional grappling. it bring us concepts from wrestling (in the broader sense) and adapt it for grappling. study this and your game will take a big leap forward.

Neil Melanson is great in his own and this course worths it too. You will have a lot of interesting and originals takedowns or ways to do them, with some continuation to the ground 👍�👍�

When you've spent years coaching the highest level MMA fighters including Randy and Chael you're going to know an awful lot on how to take someone to the mat. Neil's insights on tactics and strategy on the takedown game are just as valuable as the techniques he teaches in this series. The series is broken down by position such as collar tie, two on one, double unders ect. It's a very in-depth series at almost 8hours+ and I might add a bargain even if you don't catch it in the never ending cycle of sales Fanatics has. Neil has also mentioned in his more recent instructionals that a part two will be filmed to follow up on this series, which is great to hear. I'm by no means the best at takedowns but I love to learn and this series is one of my favorite resources and as helped me improve a lot. I think anyone who has a BJJ Fanatics account should have at least one Neil Melanson instructional, I actually think they should have all 20 but baby steps guys.

Neil's instructionals are second-to-none, and his filthy takedowns are no exception. As an over-the-hill novice grappler with no takedown game, I'm learning a ton from Neil's expertise. His blend of wrestling, judo, and jiu-jitsu never fails to blow my mind––and his wisecracks are the best. Definitely the sort of guy you'd wanna grab a beer with.

Really liked the details that Melanson puts into his videos. Details and examples of use, very well done. Little rough language wise, so you may not want kids to watch it, directly.

Looked everywhere for a detailed review on this one and couldnt find anything. The short of it is, Great basic to intermediate wrestley takedown instructional modified for bjj. Everything Neil teaches is golden and keeps it entertaining. Easy to understand, Lotta good stuff in here if you want to up your standup game.

Anything by Neil Melanson is pure gold. Great takedown video, going over underhook, overhook, snap down, etc… with submission’s added into a lot of the setup’s. I have 12 of Neil’s instructional videos and they are all top notch.

Neil put together another awesome instructional! The stuff on the outside duckunder and the cross face chicken wing alone are worth the price but there are so many gems in this one I lost count. Great stuff for any level or style of grappler. Thanks so much coach Melanson for all the great content. P.s. we need to get the green light for that combat jiu jitsu video:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I have been waiting for a takedown series from Neil for a long time and this video did not disappoint. Straight from the get go this is packed with gems and adds a twist to the takedown game that is just so difficult to find anywhere else. This series is a very good mix of strong fundamental wrestling moves along with Neil's unique approach to grappling. I have watched a lot of takedown instructionals and this is by far the most unique series I have come across, I definitely recommend this purchase!
