Takes a while to absorb the information and put it into practice but is an interesting concept if you can visualise it in your own head. The video explains the fundamental principal (head of the snake) and then shows how it would apply in multiple situations. Something more experienced players will get value from, probably not suitable for beginners.

The concept he shows offers a different way to think about controlling your opponent that I have been able to use. It's not mind blowing, but it definitely notched up the quality of my skills a bit. It was time and money well spent.

You can see what Braulio shows us here are key principles of control that can be applied across all positions throughout Jiu Jistu. The video production is great, with multiple angles. Braulio takes the time to introduce each application of the concept, as well as explaining the positions he's demonstrating fully, making it accessible for beginners such as myself also. I love the instructional approach Braulio is taking here, encouraging creativity in Jiu Jitsu thought process, teaching the Why? and not just the How? - the concept is fluid and you can apply it to your existing game. I've already started to apply the Head of the Snake concept in new positions with significant success in live sparring, and it's greatly enhanced my understanding of positional control.. I know I'll reap the benefits from The Head of the Snake concept throughout my JJ journey! Highly Recommend!
Conceptual approach to control. Gamechanger!
I was lucky to attend a couple seminars where Braulio was exploring the Head of the Snake concept. A real game changer for positions that I thought I had a decent grasp of at the time, i found i had instant improvements.. I love the conceptual approach, as I find I'm also able to apply the lessons taught here to other positions as well new ones I'll be sure to learn in the future.

A real game changer for positions that I thought I had a decent grasp of at the time - following on i had instant improvements in the positions we covered. So I was excited to see he had put it all together in this instructional covering a wide base with the concept.. And i have not been disappointed! I love the conceptual approach, as I find I'm also able to apply the lessons taught here to other positions as well as new ones I'll be sure to learn in the future. Today i found in sparring. The instruction from Braulio is clear and engaging, the footage is well captured with multiple angles so you can see everything he is referring to clearly.Highly recommend!
