I have been practicing Jiu Jitsu off and on since 2001. My first Martial Art was Hapkido. I practiced Judo with a friend who was from Japan and he was a Judo Black Belt but that was over 20 years ago. My Jiu Jitsu school has a Judo Program so I started a year ago. This video is very good for me. It shows all the throws I need to learn but what I really like is the detailed explanation of how to set up the throws. I already train to many different Arts so I was worried that Judo would be too much and my age, being 56 years old. At my age it is so important to really watch and listen to the experts. This is an excellent video program especially for Jiu Jitsu students wanting to improve their Stand-Up Game.
As a judoka (brown) and a jiu-jitsu student (blue), I believe that this course is not only helpful to the beginners, but also to those who are intermediate or advanced in their game and want to make their techniques even better! Thank you!
Great!
Great instructional. There are plenty of great details to add to my stand up game in grappling
Very interesting and useful
Able to use techniques during training same day I watched the videos. Valuable small tips and tidbits as well.
Him judo everyone good at judo me like
Great details
Very Useful
Good stuff, but nothing bad or negative about him, (He is an olympian medalist), I am just having a hard time trying to understand his broken English when he is explaining techniques. Maybe he should have spoken Japanese and have someone else translate it using sutbtitles or a voice over in English.
easy to understand and start using right away, finally hit my first osoto in live sparring
Amazing
Top!
Sensei Satoshi Ishii provided his huge treasure of knowledge. In a very precise way. He expains each technique step by step. If more efficient he offers a lot of adapdations if the opponents are of more hight, have longer arms and/or legs. The gripping section alone would be worth it!!
amazing
A great insight into Satoshis overall plan when approaching gripping and throwing. Great product
Great series - gripping and entry details are excellent.
Amazing value for money. Great details and techniques... As one might expect from a gold medalists and high level MMA fighter. I train both judo and BJJ and this video is beneficial to both sports!
