Great techniques and a lot of match footage to refer to.
Nicky Ryan is a prodigy
This series shoes plenty of options for wrestling up from the guard, and acts as a great intro to wrestling for bjj
Super intuitive techniques. I've been hitting clean single-legs and back takes since I first started watching this one.
Great instructional!
Nicky Ryan shows great wrestle ups from every position. Also position where you would not directly think the wrestle up on, which makes the instructional a true gem.
Good addition to traditional BJJ skills
Coming from wrestling, these wrestle ups fit perfectly into my bottom game
N. R. created a great compendulum about wrestling up! Answering what to do seated vs standing when they want to engage and what to do if not. The seated vs kneeling is basically diveded into underhook and overhook series. He also shows when to use single legs, double legs and judo throws. He delivers a follow up for every possible reaction. Highly recommend!
Nicky's wrestle up series is top notch. It makes it easy to scramble from bottom position.
This has been helpful adding a wrestling angle to my guard game.
Detailed and well presented breakdown of wrestling up from all different guard positions. Offers alternatives dependent on opponents reactions so can create a wrestling-up system that works.
Another great Instructional!
Haven't come across a more well-developed system for wrestling up!
Impress for the quality of this instructions system
Blue belt here. This changed the way I see bottom position, jumping between the threats of sweeps and wrestle ups definitely seems to open a lot of things up. Highly recommmend!
Excellent instruction. These techniques are easily applied if you have some technical experience in jiu jitsu or wrestling. Techniques are very detailed and high percentage. I've only drilled 4 or 5 techniques so far and had a high success rate during training. Highly recommend this series.
Excellent instructional. Great from a broad conceptual standpoint, and also good with details from specific situations. Has examples from seated guard, and supine.
Lots of good ideas with the wrestle ups. I kinda wish he had more content rather than three parts but overall I enjoyed the instructional
I hated to wrestle up until I watched this. It short and sweet and to the point. He runs through the instruction a couple of times with well placed details. I’ve been having success with this for the the past couple of months and I enjoy playing with the options. Great technique.
Nicky does a great job in this instructional. Very detailed on all the techniques. Hope to see many more instructionals from Nicky.
A very good instructional with clear and fairly simple presentation. Nicky does a good job explaining and demonstrating the techniques with different camera angles. Easily digestable and efficient content.
I was deeply impressed by the teaching ability of Nicky. If you are a Fan you would recognize that even in the B Team Youtube channel but building an instructional is a different challenge. And he made it pretty well. You will learn phenomenal Details and will get a huge learning curve by watching his DVD. I will definitely buy more DVD#s of him and im really looking forward to working with the new bottom game meta.
Awesome for any guard player wanting to add to their game!
I like the way Nicky Ryan organizes and teaches his material, for easy for me to follow and also go back and review specific moves.
