Very useful and detailed instruction
This video contains many ways to wrestle up to your opponent starting from a seated guard. Nicky does a great job showing you exactly what to do and how to follow up depending on your opponents reactions. This instructional is unique. These techniques can also help for bjj guys who want to become more confident in their wrestling takedowns, because the finishing portion of the takedowns remains the same whether you started from a standing or seated position.
Really good stuff!
Awesome game changer!
Great instructional and structured very well. Learning How to deal with an opponent disengaging was crucial and with an opponent that forces you into a supine position with either Hq positioning or knee cut positions. Nicky covers different postures and grip progressions that really cover how to make simple wrestling transitions very technical. One of the best purchases I have made on BJJ fanatics
Great system for wrestle ups! Nicki goes in depth about different ways to wrestle from different bottom positions, highly recommend!
Good stuff esp for former wrestlers.
Simply the best.
Nicky Ryan provides some very no-nonsense methods to improve your grappling by achieving a dominant position. I have already found this instructional to be very useful in scrambles where I’m able to come up on top because of it.
This is the most detailed Wrestling Up instructional I have seen so far. The transitions are creative, simple, and smooth. Nicky Ryan tailors his techniques with a primary attack based upon whether your opponent engages or refuses to. The following attacks address the resistance given after the primary. Ryan addresses common misconceptions about wrestling up and demonstrates effective techniques to prove his point of view. Do not be fooled by the three volumes. This instructional is filled with content. I am excited to try them out on the mats and I know you will too.
I'm so happy to be getting Nicky Ryan's instructional's finally. This young man is a wealth of tested knowledge and his instruction is awesome. Danaher has helped fashion some really solid instructors/competitors. And this particular instructional is something I've never seen a series on, so much of it is new to me. Great quality, high level information. Keep them coming!
Excellent instructional. I added some tools and techniques to my wrestle up game. A series of positions that are easily chained together to give you a well rounded game. I highly recommend checking it out.
High quality content, straight to the point. Clocking in at 3 hours I wish it was a little longer tbh.
I haven't worked all the way through this instructional, but I'm really enjoying it so far! I love how Nicky explains that wrestling up will be like the next "meta" in jiu-jitsu and I think he is right. That's why I bought this product and I'm excited to learn from a reputable teacher like Nicky.
Easy to follow and clear instructions
I've never really felt confident shooting in for takedowns, and this DVD was my in. As I've been able to get under the hips using these techniques it's given me more confidence to attempt while standing as well because I have better finishing mechanics. Amazing DVD. For real.
Nicky really shows high level wrestle ups. This is by far my favorite concept I’ve learned so far. Awesome techniques. High quality stuff. Definitely check it out.
awesome
Great insight to a game that is not used in most gyms.
Good instructional.
Best teacher, great tutorial, so évaluable. Thanks for making this video exist!!!
It is good for me I am not good with sweeps cause I am not a guard player but this changed my bottle game
Fantastic Instructional. One of the better wrestle up series out there. Would say it and Wiltses are on par with each other, however this one has a lot shorter sections. Good stuff!
Game changer!
A great instructional, Nicky Ryan gets straight to it without the filler of a lot of other instructionals. He covers the set ups and concepts as well as finishes.
