• Used the old pressure passing

  Used the old pressure passing system to build a guard passing game when I was a purple belt. Using this series to update the game of what I've learned in the past to help bridge a much needed gap.

  Excellent. Not too long or too much but a ton to work on. He provides the essentials to a cohesive game that simply smashes guards. Old school cool. It augmented my game right away and transformed the way I think about a few things. Very actionable strategies here without being overwhelming. His approach is great. Straightforward, fight tested and a dangerous addition to speed passing. Self defense and fight applicable. His update is great, and him working with senior is the coolest. One of the best instructionals I’ve bought from BJJ Fanatics.

  If you are familiar with Professor Lovato’s Pressure Passing system, you will be pleasantly surprised by this update. The bits and bolts are the same, but the application is fresh and innovative. This instructional is helpful not only in its content but also (and perhaps more so) in its example. Professor Lovato shows that 1) Principles are timeless, and 2) techniques must evolve. And that is precisely what has happened with his Pressure Passing system. The content is excellent. Professor Lovato’s instruction is clear, concise, and accessible. And, as usual, BJJ Fanatics has presented it exquisitely.

• Lovato Style Smashing

  Lovato teaches a smash/pressure style passing that is very effective at neutralizing your opponent’s guard game. He’s also a great teacher that doesn’t leave out any details. Highly recommend picking up this instructional.
