• Arm-bars through a different lens

  Ivan is a beast and this instructional is a gem if you love arm-bars. Very detailed step by step instructions of techniques but from a different perspective, but no less effective. If anything, the techniques might be harder to stop as your opponent will be less familiar with them…. The only downside - and I was close to docking a star - was the lack of descriptive chapter names. Chapters are just labeled as ‘Arm bar 1, Arm bar 2’ or ‘Step 1, Step 2 etc’

  Ivan is multi Sambo champion with huge experience. His arm bar seminar is a hidden gem. Theres a lot Sambo can bring to a grappling table - brilliant takedowns,armbars from all angels and leg locks among them. Taken from Japanese jiujitsu and modified, simplified by high level Soviet masters - theres a lot to learn from sambo.
