  Another great instructional on scissor guard. Great insight on utilizing a scissors sweep to create a whole entire guard game. Thank god for great instructional like this, I do not have the time or creative mind to expand my game without these., I feel like I’m cheating.

  I was really curious about this one when I heard it was in development, because I thought what the F**k is a scissor guard? sweep yes, guard no. After watching it I have to say it's a real game changer for me, not just with the techniques but the concept and strategy around the scissor position. I'm sure most people have encountered that moment when you try a scissor sweep and the person just won't budge so you either have to revert back to closed guard or other open guard that's if you haven't been passed. This instructional goes into great detail on creating offence from the scissor position so if the sweep fails, fear not, start working offence with a two on one from the scissor position, or attempt to take the back, transition into K-control or even the shoulder pin all of which is possible from the scissor guard. I really had no idea there were so many options. Highly recommended, you can not go wrong with a Neil Melanson instructional. In Neil We Trust, The Filth is the Way - stick that on a t-shirt I'd buy it

  As with all of Neils videos this instructional is packed with very detailed technique, high level strategies, words of wisdom and a bunch of entertaining stories! It's a mix you won't find from anyone else, definitely recommended.
